I gave Ayla extra hugs and kisses tonight before Dean brought her into her room to go to bed. I sat down on the couch with my Kleenex, ready to cry with her when I heard some mild protesting. Dean was already out of her room. Did he forget to give her her milk?! He said she only took about five or six gulps from it and didn't want it anymore. Very weird. Hopefully she doesn't regret it and want that milk at 3:00 a.m...what do we do then?
Long story short, Dean came out into the living room at 8:52...she was quiet by 8:56.
WHAT?!
No hysterics, no throwing up...just some mild crying and calling out. Four minutes. Four. That's it. The first two nights took over an hour. She also woke up 20-30 minutes after falling asleep the first couple of nights so we had to start the process all over again. Of course, that could still happen...we shall see. You'll be hearing from me in the a.m. For now, my heart has been saved from another beating.

Hope you get a better nights sleep! We have been having horrendous nights due to teething and we had to resort to CIO again. Ian has slept through the night again the last two nights! I had forgotten how exhausting and trying it was to be up in the middle of the night! Hopefully your little girl has a peaceful nights sleep!
Progress, yipeeee!!!:)
