3.31.10

It was 80 degrees today! My friend, Molly, and her 6-month old baby, Piper, came over this afternoon. We took a walk outside to enjoy the weather. Piper wasn't too thrilled by the end so they had to head home after our walk. Poor Molly had to carry her and push her stroller for much of the time. It reminded of me of my first walk with Ayla without Dean's help...and add Kody to the mix. Bad news. :)

Ayla and I stayed outside for another couple of hours. She loved it.

I painted her piggies a couple of days ago. She is so proud of them. Such a little girly-girl.

Regan

On Sunday afternoon, I took some pictures of our friends' little one-year old daughter, Regan. She is so cute and has the perfect little rolls in all the perfect places. :)

The Big 3-0

We went out on Friday night for our friend, Meghan's 30th birthday--I can't believe we're all turning 30 this year. Yikes.

It was a really fun night out--we boarded a bus called the Green Goblin and took a tour of dive bars in Millard. Awesome, right? It was a freaking blast. It even involved games at each bar...I wore a sombrero at one bar, if that says anything. :) Good times, I tell you...good times.

Happy Birthday Meghan! Thanks for a great night out! :)

Early Easter

We celebrated Easter with my family today...we went over to Ping and Surina's for an egg hunt and brunch. It was really chilly outside so the hunt didn't last too long. I thought maybe Ayla would be into it this year, but she didn't really know what to do. She was too busy watching everyone else run around. Ping and Surina spoiled her with enough presents to rival Christmas--she came home with a new Elmo DVD, a baby doll, bubbles, candy, a really cool butterfly kite, a toy camera, a stuffed bunny, alphabet magnets, and the list goes on. Sheesh. Thanks for a fun morning, guys!

3.25.10

Ayla and I went over to hang out with Haylee and Bennett again this afternoon. I had my camera with me so I decided to see what I could get. Bennett happily obliged for the first few pictures...even said "cheese" but after a while, I practically had to beg him to look at me. He has the cutest little face, doesn't he? What a little stud. And by the way, his outfit of choice? A winter hat and moon boots on a 55 degree day, of course. Haylee, on the other hand, is a total ham. She was striking poses left and right and when I wasn't pointing the camera at her, she kept saying, "You can take more pictures of me!" And why shouldn't I? She's gorgeous. And Ayla? Well, she was too busy enjoying the freedom of being in a fenced in yard to care about pictures. She's also grown too accustomed to having a camera in her face at all times. :)

So cute. I love these little people.
