I snapped this cute picture of Dean and Ayla today. I love my family.I'm still having a blast being home with Ayla...of course, it's going by too quickly already! Now that she's on a pretty regular schedule (more so than she's ever been), the days fly by because I pretty much know what to expect. Although today, she surprised me by taking a 2 1/2 hour nap...this is unheard of for her. Usually we're lucky if she makes it past an hour! I checked on her a few times to make sure everything was okay. Paranoid mommy...
In between naps, bottles, and meals, we try to make it out of the house at least once a day so we...ahem, I...don't go stir-crazy. We frequent SuperTarget more often than I mean to...no, really, I don't intend to go every other day but every time we get home, I discover we need something else. Somehow, though, when we go back to get that one thing, we walk out with 17 things. Oops. I realize there are other store options, but I don't think I can stomach Wal-Mart. Plus, the weirdest thing happens...my car just automatically drives to SuperTarget every time I turn the key. Ayla does really well while we're in stores...there's more than enough for her to see so it keeps her happy. Happy Ayla=Happy Mommy.
Speaking of cars, have I mentioned that we sold mine? (I'm borrowing my parents' Avalon right now...thanks Mom and Dad!) Dean put it on Craigslist and it was gone in a couple days...the first people who came to look at it, purchased it. We had no idea it would go that quickly! I've been scouring the Internet for my next car but haven't had a whole lot of luck so we're going to hit the dealerships this weekend to do some test driving. Fun, fun!

That's great you sold your car so quickly. What kind of car are you looking to buy? Why'd you sell the other one?
I love my car and feel truly fortunate to have one, but I cannot wait to move to Boston and utilize public transportation! Owning a car is so expensive! Apparently Matt is next in line for my car...
I want a smaller SUV...I like the Toyota Highlander, Acura MDX, and a couple others. I don't have it narrowed down as much as I should. I've never had the opportunity to pick out a car. I was spoiled--I drove whatever my parents were generous enough to give me.
We wanted to sell it while it was still in good shape so someone would actually want it. It's a great car, but I'm ready for a new one...the next one will be something I drive for a really long time.
When do you come home? This month, right?
She is soooo cute! Just look at the sweet smile! Love the dress!
...should I even START on our mutual love for Super Target!?! I feel both deprived and grateful that the nearest Target to me is not a Super Target. (But I still go there, of course!)...as for Wal-mart, the only way I'm able to stomach the one near me is because it's "new"--but I hear ya!
Anyway, you have a BEAUTIFUL family! Nice pictures!
Good luck finding a car this weekend!
