Ayla's birthday party turned out great! Thank you to all of our family and friends who came out to celebrate with us...it really means a lot to us that you were all here. She received so many fun gifts...lots of great clothes for fall and winter and tons of awesome toys to keep her busy...thank you, thank you, thank you!
Check out the cool fruit kabobs that Grandma and Grandpa made! Checking out her presents... Cake time! I was so looking forward to seeing Ayla eat her little birthday cake...it's the best part of the party, right? Well, not only did she not eat it, she wouldn't even touch it! I put her hands into it a couple times and the messier she got, the more upset she got. Poor baby did not like being dirty. Playing with all of her new things...
I was born and raised in Omaha...I love it here!
My husband Dean and I met in college and we've been married since April 2005. Dean is a regional account manager for Aerotek and I run a family restaurant called Ming's with my older brother.
On October 3, 2008, we welcomed our little baby girl into the world. Ayla Ming Peterson is the new love of our lives.
Baby girl #2, Aubree Elizabeth, arrived right on time on March 22, 2011.
We also have a furry, 75-lb, 4-legged baby named Kody...he's the sweetest dog you'll ever meet.
Life is great...we couldn't be more blessed.

She's a girl after my own heart. Growing up, I never liked to be dirty or sweaty either. :)
So she likes the mini pots and pans??? We had a good time at your house!
I'm so nervous about the tantrums and fits - its a little overwhelming!
