Last Saturday was Ayla's dance recital! Friday night, they had a dress rehearsal so we were able to practice hair and make-up. It made Saturday much easier since I (kind of) knew what I was doing. You'd think after 6 1/2 years of being a mom to girls, I'd know how to do hair. Not so much. But I surprised myself this time...it actually looked super pretty and stayed in place. :)
Ayla did soo well both at the rehearsal and the recital! It was held at the Orpheum and it was PACKED. ALL of the dancers were amazing. You could tell that they've all worked so hard all year long. I am SO proud of Ayla...she said she was nervous, but you never would've known it. :) I am so excited to see her continue to learn and become a better and better dancer.
